Tanzania is a country with a rich diversity of culture. The people of Tanzania are social in nature, warm and kind. Tanzania boasts 120 tribes but modernization and urbanization has eroded the culture of many tribes. Looking at the bright side though, the few that have conserved their culture, have done it so well that a visit to these cultural places feels like travelling back to the origin of mankind, after-all Tanzania, the Olduvai Gorge is the cradle of mankind, a paleoanthropological site that holds critical information on human origins.
Tanzania is also home to significant cultural tribes like the Maasai (Masai) people who are also found in Kenya, The Hadzabe people (Bushmen) of Lake Eyasi.
